Hotel Accord Metropolitan,Chennai

We stay here in the Pullambadi area, which is part of the Trichy district in Tamil Nadu. Our spot is on the map as Anna Nagar, with the pin 621711. It is a bit of a distance from the main hub of Chennai, even if the name Hotel Accord Metropolitan makes people think otherwise. Most of the time, we are just busy with the daily chores that come with running a place like this. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we opened up. We don't use any of those fancy slogans you see on billboards. It’s just us, some local people making sure things are tidy. The sun gets pretty hot out here, so we usually keep the shutters down in the middle of the day. We know the people who live down the road and they often stop by to say hello. It isn't a fast-paced life like you might find in a big city. We take things as they come. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet for hours. We just make sure the rooms are ready and the water is running. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a regular building where we do our work. We try to be helpful when someone stops by asking for the way to the main road. It’s a simple life for us out here in Trichy.
