Hotel Guru Abirami

You can find Hotel Guru Abirami over at No 10, Cross Main Road in Thillai Nagar. We are located right near the petrol bunk, which is a good landmark for people who aren't from this part of Trichy. The 620018 area is usually quite active, especially in the evenings when everyone is out running errands. Our place isn't very large, just a regular building on the cross road. We’ve got the usual tables and a kitchen that stays fairly hot throughout the shift. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers keeping the place going. The paint on the walls is a bit dull, but it’s clean enough for a daily spot. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day stuff like stock and keeping the floor swept. Since we are on a main road, there's a lot of vehicle noise, but you get used to it after a few days of working here. Most of our regulars are from the surrounding neighborhood. They know where we are and what to expect. We don't really do anything special with the interior; it’s just plain and functional. Sometimes the supply delivery is late, and we have to scramble a bit, but that's just part of the job. It’s a straightforward business we run. We open the doors, do the work, and close up at night. That is pretty much the whole story of our life here in Thillai Nagar. We just keep our heads down and get on with things.
