Hortbio Technologies Private Limited is located over in Trichy, specifically in the Meakkudi area of Nadupatti. Our address is 1/133, and we are part of the Nagamangalam Post area. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city center, but it suits what we do. We focus on the technology side of things for plants and farms. It’s not a huge operation with hundreds of employees. Just a few of us here in Tiruchirappalli trying to make sense of how to use better methods for growing things. The office is pretty basic. We spend a lot of time looking at data or checking on plant samples. Being in Nadupatti means we are close to the actual land, which is important for us. We aren't city people who don't know what a farm looks like. We live and work right here in this part of Tamil Nadu. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, but we manage. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve got some equipment and a lot of notebooks filled with ideas. People around here know us as the tech folks for the farms. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or just being part of the local agricultural scene. It’s a steady life and we just keep at it every day. There is always more to learn.
