Cauvery Coir Producer Company Limited

Our workshop is at Sf.No.811/3B in Pillapalayam. It’s part of Anjur Village near Pandalingapuram in Karur. We are the Cauvery Coir Producer Company Limited. Being near the river area, we have plenty of coconut trees around, so working with coir was the natural thing for us to do. We take the husks and turn them into fiber and other things people use. It’s dusty work and can be quite noisy when the machines are running, but it’s what we do. We aren't a big factory with hundreds of people. We’re just a local group from the village. The office is right there on the site, so we can see everything that’s happening. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the fiber flying around, but it’s where we get the business done. We decided to form a company so we could sell our coir products more easily. Before, we were all doing it separately and it was a mess. Now we can organize the loads better. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. If you want to talk to us, you just come down to Pillapalayam and find us near the sheds. We’ll probably be busy with the husks, but we always have time for a quick chat about the business. We’re just trying to make the most of what the coconut trees give us here in Karur. We have been doing this for a while and we know the process inside and out.
