You’ll find Aalamayil Steel Fabricators at 886, Solaialagupuram 3rd Street. We’re right in Subramaniapuram, which is a busy part of the city. A good landmark is the Aravind Theater; we are basically right behind it. It’s a loud area, especially when a movie is letting out or starting up. Our shop floor is always buzzing. There’s the smell of metal and grease in the air most of the time. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s a working shop. We’ve got tools scattered around and projects at different stages everywhere you look. The 3rd Street is usually pretty packed with people and delivery trucks. We’ve been here at number 886 for a long time. People around here know the sound of our work. It’s a very local feel. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small desk area where the paperwork gets done. Most of the space is for the actual physical work. We keep the big doors open for ventilation. Sometimes it gets really hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is. We’ve got a small water cooler that gets a lot of use.
