New Raj Salon

New Raj Salon is my place over on Pudhukotai Main Road in Subramaniapuram. We are near the TVS Tolgate area in Trichy, so a lot of people pass by every day. I opened this shop at No 83 because it seemed like a busy enough street. We do all the usual stuff like haircuts, head massages, and beard styling. It is a simple salon. We have a couple of old revolving chairs that are still comfortable enough. I don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually works around here. People come in, get their hair cut, talk about the weather or the local sports, and then they leave. It is a quiet life most of the time. The shop gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the door open to get a breeze. Subramaniapuram is a good neighborhood to be in. We get a mix of older men and some younger kids coming in with their fathers. Sometimes I forget to change the magazines on the table, but nobody seems to mind much. We are at No 83, Pudhukotai Main Road, Subramaniapuram, Trichy - 620020. I’ve lived in Trichy my whole life so I know many of the faces that walk through the door. It’s just a regular business where we try to be consistent with how we cut hair and that's about it. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here, just providing a service to the local community every day.
