Anandhan Salon

Our salon is on the first floor of the M P Udayar Complex, which is at No 6 in the Tiruchirappalli Ho area. If you know where the City Union Bank is in Trichy, we are very close to that. It’s a good location because people are always coming to the bank. The stairs up to the first floor are right there. Inside, it is a basic men’s salon. We have the usual chairs, some old magazines, and the tools for cutting hair and trimming beards. The chairs have been there for a while but they are comfortable enough for a quick cut. We don't overcomplicate things here. A haircut is a haircut. We’ve been here in this complex for a number of years. The fans hum all day to keep the heat away. Trichy can be quite warm, so it’s a place to sit for a bit while we work. We know the regular customers who come every month. It’s just a few of us working here. We don't have a fancy website or social media. We just keep the shop open and do our best with the scissors and clippers. It’s a practical way to spend the day. Sometimes the bank gets a long line and people pop in here while they wait. We just keep things moving. It is a simple, local business for the people of Trichy.
