The Leela Kempinski Kovalam Beach, Tthiruvananthapuram

We are based down in Kovalam, right by the beach in Thiruvananthapuram. The office is managed by Jobin Thomas, who works as the HR Executive here at The Leela Kempinski. If you know Kerala, you know that Kovalam is a beautiful but busy spot. Our work is mostly done behind the scenes, making sure the staff and the operations are running without too many hiccups. We don't have a separate corporate building; we are right here on the grounds. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the guests and the events happening. We don't spend our time writing fancy slogans. Instead, we are busy with hiring, paperwork, and talking to the people who keep this place going. The salt air is always around us, and sometimes the humidity makes the office life a bit slow. We are just a group of people trying to keep things organized in a very busy environment. It is an honest job and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We are part of the local community here in Kerala, and we just handle the daily needs as they come up. It’s a practical, hands-on way to run the HR side of a big place like this.
