Our shop is tucked into the Castle Mill Compound at Summer Castle, specifically Shop Number 2 on L B S Marg. Being in Thane West means we deal with a lot of traffic and people constantly on the move. We are right near the Vikas Complex and Minatal Thackeray Chowk, so there is always some sort of noise or activity happening outside our door. Running Veggies is basically a full-time job that starts before the sun is even up. We have to make sure everything is ready for the morning rush when people are heading to the station or driving to work. The compound itself has a lot of history, and being part of it feels like being part of old Thane in a way. The air is often thick with humidity, and we spend a lot of time just trying to keep the place cool and the produce fresh. It’s not a large shop, just a small space where we try to fit everything in. We don’t have a big team or fancy equipment. It’s just a few of us making sure things run okay. Customers come in looking for specific things for their dinner, and we do our best to help them find it. Sometimes we run out of stuff faster than expected, and we have to explain that to people. It’s just the daily grind, you know? Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep the doors open and do the work.
