You can find us over at Parekh Indl. Estate. It’s on Chandansar Road in Virar, near Narangi Phata. It’s a bit of a trek if you're coming from the main city, but this is where the space is. We’ve been at unit number 10 for a while. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machines or trucks moving around in the background. We do technical work here. It’s mostly metal, grease, and trying to get things to fit together right. It’s not a quiet job. The floor is concrete and we wear work clothes that usually end up with some marks on them by the end of the shift. We aren't big on meetings or fancy presentations. Usually, we just huddle around a workbench and figure out why something isn't working. The tea break is the best part of the afternoon. We get some fresh air outside the gate and talk about whatever is on the news. Virar has grown a lot since we first set up here. There used to be a lot more open space, but now it’s all buildings and more factories. We just keep our heads down and finish the tasks we have for the day. It’s honest work. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out. That’s just part of being in an industrial estate. We don't try to act like we're something we're not. We're just guys working with machines.
