The TTC Industrial Area in Turbhe is where you’ll find Prabhat Dairy Ltd. Our spot is at D-37/4, right off the Thane Belapur Road. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s not exactly the quietest place to work. There are trucks moving in and out at all hours, and you can hear the hum of machinery from the neighboring units. Our building is a sturdy one, built to handle the kind of work we do. Inside, it’s a mix of office desks and the sound of the plant running. The floors are usually a bit cool, and there’s always a faint smell of milk in the air, which I guess is to be expected. We start our shifts early, often before the sun is fully up, to keep up with the deliveries. The breakroom has a heavy metal door that slams if you aren't careful, and the table inside is scratched from years of use. We don't have many decorations on the walls, just some calendars and safety notices. Working in MIDC means we are surrounded by other businesses doing the same kind of hard work. It’s a gritty, practical place. We don't spend much time on fluff; we just focus on the gauges, the containers, and the logistics of moving products out the door. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare in the evening, but that’s just part of life here.
