We operate out of Kothari Warehouse No.3, specifically Unit M in that 27 Acre area off Tikuji-Ni-Wadi Road. It’s a big site, and sometimes people get lost trying to find our specific door among all the other units. Being in Chitalsar, Manpada means we are away from the main city buzz, which is nice in some ways but makes the commute a bit of a trek for some of us. Economode Food Equipment India Pvt.Ltd. is basically what the name says. We deal with machines for making food, and the warehouse space is necessary for all that heavy gear. It’s a high-ceilinged place, so it stays a bit cooler in the summer, though the fans have to work hard. There’s always the sound of metal or something being moved around. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; you usually just walk in and find someone at a desk near the front. The office part is just a partitioned corner of the warehouse. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized with all the orders coming in and out. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of parts. The road outside can get pretty busy with people going to the park nearby, especially on weekends, but inside we’re just doing our thing. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we’ve got a good crew here who knows how to handle the heavy lifting day in and day out.
