You can find us out on Sitra Kalapatti Road, specifically at Site Number 4 in S F No. 213. It’s an area with a lot of industrial units, so we fit right in with the rest of them. We spend our days around bakery machines, mostly the big ovens and mixers that people need for their shops. The workshop is usually humming with the sound of metal being cut or motors being tested. It gets pretty warm in there, especially when we’re checking the heating elements on a new batch of ovens. We’ve got a lot of spare parts sitting on the shelves, some of them have been there for ages. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t spend much time on decorations. Most of the staff here have grease on their clothes by noon, and that’s just how it is. We talk to a lot of bakery owners who are just trying to get their businesses running, so we hear a lot of stories. Sometimes we’re out on the road helping someone set up their gear, but usually, we’re right here in the shop. The traffic on Kalapatti Road has gotten worse lately, but we still manage to get the trucks loaded up on time. It’s just a group of us working with steel and motors to make sure people can bake their bread. No big secret to it, just steady work and a lot of heavy lifting.
