We deal with various technical tools and gear every day. The workshop area is usually a bit messy with parts and boxes everywhere. It’s just part of the job. Some mornings we spend just sorting through the new arrivals. The street outside gets really crowded around lunch time because of all the nearby offices. We usually just grab something quick and get back to it. Our space isn't huge but it fits everything we need. There are a few of us who have been working together for years now. We have our own way of doing things. It might not look organized to an outsider but we know where everything is. Handling instruments requires a bit of patience. Sometimes a delivery gets delayed and we have to reorganize the whole week. That’s just how it goes in this business. We don't have any big corporate signs or flashy lights. Just a small plate on the door. It’s quiet enough on the first floor to get the technical stuff done. We just keep our heads down and handle the tasks as they come. It’s a decent place to work and the commute isn't too bad for most of us. We just try to keep the instruments calibrated and the customers satisfied without making things complicated.
