Tinas Spa And Saloon

Tinas Spa And Saloon is tucked away in Guru Nanak Society, over in the Kopri Colony area of Thane East. It’s a bit different from the West side of town, maybe a little more relaxed and quiet. We are located at A 78, which is not far from the Prem Nagar area. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to make it work for everything we need to do. We have the salon chairs on one side and a small curtained area for the spa stuff in the back. It’s usually just me and one other girl working the shifts most days. We spend a good amount of time cleaning the glass and reorganizing the bottles on the shelves so we can find things. Since we are in a residential society, we get to know the families living around here quite well. You see the kids growing up and the older folks coming in for their regular monthly routine. We try to keep things simple and honest. If we are busy, we just tell people to come back in an hour or so. There’s no fancy waiting room here, just a couple of stools near the door. The air conditioner hums a lot, but it keeps the place cool when the afternoon sun hits the front windows. It's just a basic place for the neighborhood people to come and feel a bit better. We like it here because it feels like home and we know our neighbors.
