Palavi Ladies Beauty Parlour

Palavi Ladies Beauty Parlour is situated in Shop No. 6 of the Vrindavan Building on Gauri Pada Road. It is a very easy spot to find because we are quite near the D.S.D. School, so you often hear the kids playing or the bells ringing during the day. This is a ladies-only space where women from the Kalyan City area come to get their eyebrows done or maybe get a haircut. It is not a huge, fancy place with marble floors, but it is clean and we have the things we need to do a proper job. We see a lot of mothers who drop their kids at the school and then pop in for a quick bit of threading before they have to go back to their chores. The atmosphere is very local and relaxed. We talk about the prices of vegetables or what is happening in the Thane news while we work. The mirrors are large and the lighting is okay, though we sometimes have to adjust the lamps. We have been in this spot for a bit, so most of the neighbors know us by name. It is a practical business for local women who do not want to travel all the way to a big mall just for basic beauty stuff. We just open the shutters in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the regulars to arrive for their appointments.
