Joyotiba Heir Cutting Salon is at Shop No-1 in Shivaji Nagar, Ambernath. We are right on the Midc Road, near Vardhaman Nagar in Thane. It’s a spot that’s easy to find if you’re heading towards the industrial area. The shop is small and simple. We’ve got the standard barber chairs and a few mirrors on the walls. It isn't a place where you’ll find fancy lighting or luxury waiting chairs. We just use what works. Most of the guys who come here live in the Shivaji Nagar area or work in the nearby factories. They usually stop in on their way home to get a quick trim or a shave. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, with new buildings going up, but our shop hasn’t changed much. We like it that way. It’s familiar. The sound of the clippers and the talk about local news is what fills the room. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on the sign outside and the fact that we’ve been here for a long time. People know they can just walk in and get what they need. We keep the razors sharp and the towels ready. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. If you’re passing by Vardhaman Nagar, you’ll see us right there on the corner. It is a good place to be and we plan to stay here for a while longer.
