That Food Company

Down on Road No-5 in Motilal Nagar No.1, that is where we do our thing. It's a small place in Goregaon West. We don't have a giant factory or anything like that. It's more of a kitchen setup where we get things ready. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it feels very local. We handle a lot of food orders throughout the day. Sometimes the smell of spices fills the whole street. We don't use any fancy machines, just regular hands doing the work. It’s better because you can tell when something is right. We might run out of stuff occasionally because we don't like keeping things for too long. Freshness is just how we like it for ourselves too. There are times when it gets really chaotic, especially during lunch hours. We try to keep it organized but sometimes the flour gets on the floor. We aren't some big food chain with a logo on every corner. We are just local people making food for other people. It’s hard work, standing all day and dealing with the heat from the stove. But it’s what we know how to do. If you walk past road five, you will probably see us through the window. We are usually too busy to wave, but we're there. It's just a regular kitchen making regular food.
