Sun Exports

Down here at E-7 in the Vikas Industrial Estate, things stay pretty moving. Being on Goddeo Road in Bhayandar East means there is always traffic, so we have to get our loading done early if we want to beat the midday rush. Sun Exports isn't a massive operation, but we stay busy enough with the packing and the paperwork. The office is tucked away in the corner of the unit and it’s usually piled high with files and sample boxes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to see where the containers are. The guys in the back are good at what they do, even when it’s humid and the fans are just pushing warm air around. We’ve been in this estate for several years now. You get used to the sounds of the other workshops nearby and the smell of diesel from the trucks. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the back door, so we have to be careful where we stack the goods. It’s just a normal workplace with a few desks and a lot of shipping tape. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the unit number on the door. Most of our day is just making sure the boxes are labeled right and the weight is correct before they head out. It’s simple work, but it keeps us on our toes most of the week.
