Living and working in Ambernath has its own pace. Suman Beauty Parlour is just one of those local spots that has become part of the street. Thane is a big area, but here in Ambernath, things feel a little more connected. We do not have a big fancy address with ten different landmarks. It’s just the shop in the neighborhood. Some days are really busy, especially during the wedding season or when there is a festival coming up, and other days we just sit and wait for someone to walk through the door. The weather gets pretty hot here, so we try to keep the place cool for whoever comes in. We’ve had this place for a good while. The walls might need a bit of fresh paint soon, but it works for now. We see the same people walking their kids to school or going to the market every day. It’s a simple setup. We have our tools, our chairs, and a few mirrors. You won't find any high-tech machines here, just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the street gets dusty, and we have to keep cleaning the front step. That is just part of owning a business here. We do not make big promises. We just open up on time and see who needs help that day. It’s a quiet life, but we like being part of the Ambernath community.
