Sugarless Bliss

We’re set up in the Parasnath Complex, specifically units B-6 and 7. It’s located on the Anjurphata Mankoli Road in the Village of Bhiwandi. This area is mostly warehouses and small workshops. It’s quite a long drive from the main city center and the roads are a bit rough. At Sugarless Bliss, we spend our time making things for people who can't have sugar in their food. It started because some of us had family members who needed to change their diets for health reasons. We do a lot of the mixing and packing ourselves right here in these units. The warehouse can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the big doors open when we can. We have a few machines but a lot of the work is still done by hand. We check the labels and make sure the boxes are taped up right before they go out. It’s not a glamorous job. We wear hairnets and aprons all day long. The road outside gets very muddy when it rains. Trucks struggle to get through the deep potholes sometimes. We know the other folks working in the complex. Sometimes we swap stories while we’re loading the delivery vans. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just hope people like what we make. It’s a quiet life out here. We work hard, clean up, and then head home to our families at the end of the shift.
