Suchikarma Apparels Private Limited

We are up on the third floor of Moti CHS in Kalwa, in Room 16. It is a bit of a climb since the stairs can be steep, but it keeps us fit. Suchikarma Apparels Private Limited is a small operation. We do not have a lot of space, so we have to be very careful about how we use every square foot. There are usually three or four of us in the room at any given time. We do a lot of sewing and finishing work here. The building itself is an old residential-style place, so it feels more like a home than an office. We have our sewing machines set up near the windows for the light. Kalwa is a crowded place, and the noise from the street always filters up, but we do not mind it much. It is the sound of the neighborhood. We started this because we knew how to handle needles and thread. It is not a big factory, just a small room where we put things together. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big order to finish. We drink a lot of chai to keep us going. We do not have a website or a marketing person. We just rely on the work we do. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking into the building. It is a simple life, focused on the craft of making garments. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running as much as we can.
