P+Am

Our office is on Akurli Road in Kandivali, right in Mumbai. P+Am is the name on the door, though it’s a small sign you might miss if you’re walking too fast. It’s a busy area, so there’s always noise from the street coming in through the windows. We’ve got a small space here that’s packed with stuff. There are drawings and notes taped to the walls and stacks of samples on the floor. It’s not the most organized place, but we have our own system for finding things. It’s just how we work. We don’t have a lot of space for fancy furniture or a big breakroom, so we just have what’s absolutely necessary. The staff is just a few people who have been together for years. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time arguing over small details until we get them exactly right. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic, especially when we have a deadline coming up and the phones won't stop ringing. But we like the energy of Kandivali. It keeps us on our toes and reminds us why we started. We don’t put on airs or try to act like we’re some huge firm from a movie. We’re just a local team doing our thing. If the office is a bit messy, it’s only because we’re actually working hard. We’re just regular folks trying to make a living in the city.
