Lalita

Lalita is a small shop located in Om Niwas, right on Ram Bhau Mahagin Marg in Kopri-Thane East. We’re near Mangala School and across from the Bank of Maharashtra. It’s a very local spot. We get a lot of students coming by after school and bank employees stopping in during their breaks. The street outside is usually full of people walking to and from the station. It’s a modest space, just Shop No-07, so it can get pretty crowded during the peak hours. We don’t have much room for big groups, but we make it work. The neighborhood knows us well. We’ve been in this part of Thane for a while now, and we’ve seen the shops around us change owners many times. We just keep doing our thing. The atmosphere is very casual; you might hear the radio playing in the background or the sound of the traffic outside. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us behind the counter. Sometimes we’re so busy we barely have time to talk, and other times we’re just waiting for the next rush. It’s a typical small business life. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure everyone gets what they ordered. If you’re in Kopri, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times already. We’re just a part of the local scenery on the way to the school.
