S. Mehta International

S. Mehta International is based in the Aakashdeep No. 3 building. We are located right opposite Rambhavan on Station Road in Bhayender West. Being so close to the station means there is never a quiet moment. You have the constant sound of the trains coming and going, plus the announcements over the loudspeakers. There is always a sea of people outside rushing to work or heading home. Our office is a simple setup with a few desks and a lot of cabinets for all our files. It gets quite dusty because of all the traffic on Station Road, so we are always wiping down the computers. We deal with various international matters, which mostly involves being on the phone or sending out a lot of emails throughout the day. The building itself is a bit older and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up again. We have a small pantry where we make our own coffee and tea. During the monsoon, the street outside can get quite flooded, making it a challenge to get to the office. We don't have any corporate mission statements or anything fancy like that. We are just a group of people trying to keep up with the daily workload. Most of us have been working here for several years now. It’s a steady job and we know the rhythm of the neighborhood. We just focus on getting the paperwork right and keeping things moving along.
