St Lawerence Global School

You can find us at Santosh Bhuvan in the Valaypada area of Nalasopara East. Being on the edge of Mumbai means things are always pretty fast-paced around here. The school sits in a busy neighborhood where there is always something going on. It’s a lot of noise and people moving about. We have a decent-sized building for the students, though space is always a bit tight like it is everywhere in this part of town. The kids come from all over the local area, mostly walking or taking a rickshaw to get here. We try to keep things running smoothly, but with so many students, there’s always a little bit of confusion in the mornings at the entrance. The name says "Global," but we are very much a local school for the people living nearby. Our teachers live in the neighborhood too, so they know the families well. The classrooms have the basic stuff you'd expect, like blackboards and benches. We don't have fancy tech in every room, but the students still manage to learn what they need for their exams. When the monsoon hits, the roads around Valaypada can get a bit messy, so we end up with a lot of muddy footprints in the halls. It’s just how it is. We are just a group of people working together to keep a school going in a crowded part of Nalasopara. We do our best with what we have.
