Brighton World School

You can find Brighton World School within the Sspm Educational Complex in Kalyan. Being part of a larger complex means there are always other people around, from students of different ages to staff from other departments. Kalyan is a fast-paced area, and our school reflects that. We have a decent-sized building with the usual classrooms and some lab spaces. The playground is shared with others, so we have to coordinate our schedules. Most of our students come from the nearby residential colonies. They arrive by bus or are dropped off by their parents on their way to the station. The atmosphere inside is mostly quiet during lesson times, but it gets very lively during the breaks. Our teachers are a mix of young and experienced people who just want to get through the syllabus. We have meetings in the staff room where we talk about student progress and the next school event. The weather in Thane can be a bit much, so we rely on the fans a lot. It’s a straightforward environment. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in the world; we just provide a place for kids to sit and learn. Sometimes the Wi-Fi is slow or a desk breaks, and we just fix it and move on. It’s a real place with real people working hard. We are just here doing our bit every day for the community.
