Carmel High School

Carmel High School is located in the Sarkar Compound on Tikujiniwadi Road, which is right in Thane West. It’s a pretty lively area, and being in Thane means there’s always a lot of noise and movement just outside our walls. We have a lot of kids packed into our classrooms, and the halls are never really quiet except maybe during the middle of a big exam. We’ve been here in the Sarkar Compound for a long time, so we’re a familiar sight to the people living around Tikujiniwadi Road. Our teachers are usually busy marking papers or planning the next day’s lessons in the staff room, which is often a bit cramped but full of life. We don’t have a massive campus with huge fields, but we make the most of the space we have. It’s a real city school experience. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when there’s a local festival or just heavy Thane traffic making everyone late for class. We just roll with it and keep things moving. The parents are often around, checking in on how things are going or dropping off forgotten lunchboxes. We keep things simple and practical here. There aren't many frills or fancy gadgets, just teachers, students, and a lot of books. It’s a place where work gets done every day without much drama. We just show up and do what needs doing for the kids in our community.
