Birla School, Kalyan

Birla School in Kalyan is located right on Birla College Road, and it’s a pretty large place compared to some of the schools in the city center. There’s a lot of open space and trees that make the air feel a bit different when you walk through the gates in the morning. The building is spread out and has several floors with wide staircases that get very busy when the bell rings for lunch. We have a lot of students coming from all over the Kalyan area, so the front gate is a hub of activity twice a day. The classrooms are basic and functional, with rows of benches and fans that hum all day long. We have a playground where the grass gets a bit dry in the summer, but the kids don't seem to mind when they’re running around. It’s a very straightforward environment where we follow a set routine every day. The teachers have their own staff room filled with books and half-graded papers, and the office usually has a few parents waiting to talk about something. It’s a solid, local school that has been part of the neighborhood for a long time. We don’t have anything too flashy, just the standard classrooms, a library that’s seen better days, and a lot of students who keep us on our toes from Monday to Saturday. Everyone just does their part to keep the place running smoothly.
