Arqam Islamic School

Arqam Islamic School is tucked away in the Ideal Market area of Mumbra, specifically in Kausa. If you have ever been to Thane, you know how crowded and lively Mumbra can be. The market is always buzzing with people buying groceries and shouting out prices. Our school sits right in the thick of that. It can be a bit loud outside, but the kids are used to it by now. We have students coming in from the nearby apartments and narrow lanes every morning. The school isn't huge, but we use every bit of space we have. There are classrooms for different ages, and we try to keep things organized despite the chaos of the city outside. The staff here deals with a lot, from managing the busy entrance to making sure the kids stay safe in the crowded streets. We don't have a big playground, so the children mostly spend their time inside the building. It is a local community school, through and through. Most of the parents work in the market or nearby, so they are always dropping in to check on things. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially during the rainy season when everyone is carrying umbrellas, but we make it work. It is just our little corner of Kausa where we spend our days teaching the neighborhood children.
