Smita Exports

Out here in Dombivli East, things can get pretty crowded, but the P & T Colony area is where we’ve set up shop. Smita Exports is located in the Siddhant Building, specifically at number 2. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station, but it’s a decent neighborhood to work in. We don’t have a big factory floor or anything like that here; it’s more about the management of the exports we handle. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on shipping details. Living and working in Gandhinagar, Dombivli, means you deal with the local trains and the traffic like everyone else. Our office is small and usually filled with samples or boxes waiting to go out. It gets a little cluttered, but we know where everything is. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years, so we’re a tight-knit group. We don't really do much advertising or anything fancy. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen the sign on the building. It’s a quiet way to run a business, and we prefer it that way. When the sun goes down, the colony gets a bit more lively with people coming home from work, and that’s usually when we start packing up for the day ourselves. It’s a simple routine, but it has worked for us for a long time.
