Our place is up on the third floor of Suvarna Ganga Chs on Ayre Road. It’s Room 14 in A Wing, which isn’t the easiest to find if you’re new to Dombivili East. We started this because we liked working with clothes and small bits like that. It’s mostly just us surrounded by boxes and rolls of fabric all day. The room gets a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives, and we have to stack things against the walls. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things ready. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. The neighbors are used to us by now. My sister and I spend most of our time here checking the stitching or packing up accessories for orders. It’s a quiet spot once you get inside, away from the noise of Ayre Road. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s a simple life, really. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just want to get the orders right and keep the business running from our little corner here. Most days we stay late just to make sure everything is sorted for the next morning. It can be tiring, but seeing the finished products makes it worth the effort we put in.
