Our workshop is located at 602/A on the 6th floor of the Rajashree Dhara building. We are in Tejpal Nagari, in the Netewali area of Kalyan East. We’ve been working out of this space for quite a while now. We focus on knitwear. It’s not like those fancy fashion shows you see on TV. It’s a lot of hard work with machines and yarn. The 6th floor gets a little breeze sometimes, which is nice because it gets hot with all the equipment running. We have a group of people here who are really good at what they do. Some have been knitting for decades. We don't have a polished showroom or a sales team. We just make the clothes and send them to the people who ordered them. The building is usually pretty busy with other small businesses, so there’s always someone coming or going in the lift. We don't use big words to describe our clothes. They’re just well-made and they do the job. Sometimes we run into problems with the supply of yarn or a machine breaks down, but we just fix it and keep going. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't have any corporate slogans on the walls, just some patterns and a few calendars. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’re proud of the work we put out every day.
