Shruti Industries

Shruti Industries is tucked away in unit 107 of Rajshree Indl. Est.-2. If you are driving down Ghodbunder Road, you know how the traffic can get, especially during the monsoon months when everything slows to a crawl. We spend most of our time here in Chitalsar Manpada, just keeping the machines running and handling the daily orders that come in. The industrial estate is always noisy, with trucks coming in and out at all hours of the day. Our space isn't very big, so we have to keep things organized or we’d never find anything we need. It gets pretty humid inside, but we’ve all grown used to it by now. The staff is just a handful of people who have been with us for quite a few years. We don’t have a big front office or a receptionist; usually, someone just yells from the back if a visitor walks in through the door. Most of the work involves basic manufacturing, nothing too glamorous or high-tech. We use old-school tools and a few newer machines when they are actually working right. Lunch is usually a quick affair, sometimes we go out to the main road for a bite, but mostly we just eat here at our desks. The neighbors in the estate are good people, always willing to lend a tool if we’re missing something for a specific job. It’s just a regular life here, making things and trying to stay out of the heat.
