Our office is in Rakesh Villa, which is inside K Villa in Thane West. It’s quite close to the Thane Janata Sahakari Bank. Most people use the bank as a landmark when they’re looking for us. We’ve been in this spot for a long time now. We deal with property and paperwork mostly. It’s a small space, nothing too big. Just some tables and chairs and a lot of files stacked up in the corner. Thane is changing so fast, with new buildings going up everywhere you look. We spend a lot of time talking to people about where they want to live or what they want to sell. Sometimes it takes months to get everything sorted with the documents. We don't use any fancy software, just notebooks and some basic stuff on the computer. The neighborhood is okay, it’s mostly residential around here so it’s not too loud. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat about the local news. We usually have the fan running all day because it gets stuffy. My partner handles the field visits while I stay back to manage the office work. We don’t do big ads in the paper. Usually, someone’s uncle or neighbor tells them to come talk to us. It’s just how things work around here. We take it one day at a time and try to get the paperwork finished properly.
