Asangaon is a busy place, especially around the railway station. Osho Dhara Realtor is found in Shop No. 2 at Krishna Apartment. Being right across from the station means we see everyone coming and going throughout the day. If you’re standing outside the door, the Royal Hotel is easy to spot nearby. Our office is small, just enough space for a couple of chairs and a desk buried under papers and maps. Most of the time we are out showing flats or looking at plots around the area. It gets really hot in the afternoon, so we try to finish the walking around by morning. Real estate here is mostly about knowing who owns what and which building is actually on schedule. We talk to a lot of people every day. Some are looking for their first home and feel a bit nervous about it. Others just want to rent something cheap near the tracks for an easy commute. Big corporate presentations aren't our thing. We just show the rooms, tell them the price, and talk about the water supply. The trains are constant, but you get used to the sound after a week. A lot of our time goes into paperwork and waiting for signatures. We’ve seen the area grow a lot since starting out. More people are moving this way for work. We just keep the shop open and see who comes in off the train every single day.
