Seth Praful Patel Public English School

We've been at Mutha Patel Campus for a good while now. It’s right there on Adharwadi Jail Road in Kalyan City. Most days start pretty early when the gates open and the first few kids show up. The building isn't brand new or anything, but it works for what we need. Teachers usually spend their mornings getting things ready before the noise really starts. It gets quite loud once everyone is here, especially during the breaks. We have desks that have seen better days, but they do the job. You can hear the traffic from the road sometimes if the windows are open. People around here know where we are because of the landmark near the jail. We don’t really do fancy stuff. It’s just about getting the lessons done and making sure the kids are where they should be. Lunchtime is always a bit of a mess with everyone trying to find a spot to sit. The staff room is small and we usually just talk about the day or what needs fixing. In the afternoons, when the sun hits the front of the school, it gets a bit warm. We just keep the fans going. It’s a normal place, really. Nothing too special to look at from the outside, but we stay busy from Monday to Saturday. Kalyan can be a busy place and being here in Thane makes us feel part of that whole rush. We just focus on the daily routine.
