Our place is out at Plot No.12 in Village Aliyali, which is located over in Palghar West. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city area, so it’s much quieter and more peaceful out here. Saregama India Ltd. has this spot for a specific reason, and we’re the ones who keep things running on the ground every day. It’s a large plot with plenty of open space around the building. We aren't the big shots you might see on television; we’re just the regular staff who handle the local side of the operations. The village atmosphere is actually quite nice, and you can see a lot of greenery and trees around the plot when you look out the windows. We have a daily routine that starts pretty early in the morning. Being in Palghar means we have to deal with the local weather, especially during the monsoon season when it pours down and the roads get muddy. We spend most of our time managing the facility and making sure everything is in proper order. It’s not a glamorous job by any means, but it’s steady and it keeps us busy. We don't use a lot of corporate jargon or big words here. We just talk like normal people and try to solve any problems as they come up during the day. Sometimes the power goes out unexpectedly, and we have to wait a bit for the generator to kick in. It’s just part of working in a more rural village area. We like the quiet pace of Aliyali. It’s a good change from the madness of the bigger towns. We just focus on the work at hand.
