Royal Hair Saloon

If you walk down Dhamankar Road in Bhiwandi, you will find us at Shop No. 1 on the ground floor of Puneet Sagar Apartment. It’s a familiar spot for people living in New Kaneri or Padma Nagar. Royal Hair Saloon has been a part of this neighborhood for a while. We are quite close to Ganesh Cinema, which is a landmark everyone knows around here. The shop is small and simple. We have the usual barber chairs and a row of benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. It’s a local place, so you won’t find any fancy decorations or soft music playing. Usually, it’s just the sound of the clippers and maybe a cricket match on a small TV if there’s one going on. The air in Bhiwandi can get pretty humid, so we keep the fans going full speed to stay cool. Men from the nearby apartments come in for a quick shave or a haircut before heading to work or after they finish their shift. We see the same people every month, so we know how they like their hair cut without them even saying much. It’s a steady routine for us. We start early in the morning, sweep the floor, and get the towels ready. By the afternoon, the shop is usually full of talk and the smell of shaving cream. It’s just a regular neighborhood barber shop where everyone is welcome to sit.
