Roso Cafe

We are at Shop No 1 in Ritesh Tower, which is on Santoshi Mata Road in Kalyan West. Our spot is right near the Commissioner’s Bungalow and just opposite the Tejashree building and the MSEB office. Because of the government offices nearby, we get a lot of people stopping in during their breaks or after finishing their work. Santoshi Mata Road is a busy stretch in Kalyan City, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking outside. The cafe itself is not very large, but we have enough room for people to sit for a bit. We opened up here because it seemed like a good central place for the local crowd. Most of our day is spent making coffee and snacks for people who are on their way somewhere else. It can get a bit hectic when the MSEB office lets out for lunch or when the evening shift ends. We try to keep the place tidy, though with people coming and going all day, there is always a bit of dust from the road that drifts in through the door. It is just a plain, functional space where you can get off your feet for a few minutes. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights, just the shop name on the front. It’s a local business run by people who live right here in Thane, and we just take it one day at a time without much fuss. We hope to stay here for a good while.
