We are based out of Kene Compound. It’s in the 421201 area, which is a bit of a distance if you’re coming from the main city side of Mumbai. We’ve been operating under the Degustibus name for some time. It’s mostly just an office and some workspace here. The area around Kene Compound isn't fancy at all. It’s mostly small businesses and industrial units. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork and the backend stuff that goes into running a food business. There’s a lot of coordination involved. Sometimes the rain makes the roads around here a bit of a mess, but we manage. We aren’t a storefront where people just walk in off the street. It’s more of a hub for our operations. Most of us have been working here for a few years now. We know the local guys around the compound. It’s a practical location for us even if it’s not in the middle of a big commercial district. We handle our logistics and planning from this spot. It’s basic, with desks and some storage. The address on the mail is always Mumbai, Maharashtra, though technically we’re quite far out. We just get on with the work every morning. There’s always stuff to be signed or moved. That’s pretty much what our daily life looks like at this address. We’ve got a small team here keeping things running every day.
