If you are ever in Kandivali East, you might see our small shop at E/2. We call it Rock N Rolls, and the name pretty much tells you what we do every day. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area, prepping the dough and chopping up vegetables or meat for the fillings we use. It is a small space, so it gets pretty hot near the stove, especially during the busy lunch and dinner rush. We don't have a lot of seating for people, so most of our customers just grab their rolls and head off to wherever they are going. We have been in Kandivali for a while now and we know many of the regulars who stop by after work for a quick bite. It is a simple operation with just a couple of us working the counter and the kitchen at the same time. We don't use any fancy advertising; we just hope the food tastes good enough for people to come back again. The street can be quite noisy with the traffic and people walking by, but we like the energy of the neighborhood here. Managing a food stall like this means long hours and lots of cleaning at the end of every night. There is no corporate manual here, just common sense and a bit of hard work every day. It’s a modest little business, and we are quite happy with our spot in the E/2 block. It keeps us busy and we enjoy the daily routine.
