R.K.Synthetics & Fibres Pvt.Ltd. is based at Sm Bhavan, specifically on Plot No.B-7 and 10 near Road No. 8 and 15. It’s a long address to remember, but once you get into the industrial zone, we’re easy enough to spot. We work with different types of synthetics and fibres all day long. The machines make a constant humming noise that fills the whole building, but you get used to it after the first hour. There’s usually a bit of dust in the air from the materials, so we try to keep the fans going. We’ve been in this location for many years now. The facility is a bit worn down, but the equipment is solid and keeps running. We aren't a high-tech lab or a polished office. We’re a factory. Our crew knows how to handle the production line, and if something stops working, we fix it ourselves. We don't have a department for marketing or any of that. We just make what we make and send it out to our customers. Some days are longer than others when we have a big shipment to get out the door. We just take our tea breaks and get back to the floor. It’s hard, physical work and it’s not always clean, but it’s what we do. We’re just a bunch of people making sure the machines keep turning every day.
