Our office is tucked away in B/04, right there in the Jatayu Building. If you know the Mira Road (E) area, you probably know that Sector V is a pretty active spot with lots of small businesses. It is not the biggest space you will ever see, just a modest unit where we manage our daily tasks and answer the phones. Most of us take the local train and then catch an auto-rickshaw to get here every morning. The building has been around for many years and has a real lived-in feel to it. We have a few computers and a lot of thick registers for our records. It is usually noisy outside with the traffic and the street vendors nearby, but we have mostly gotten used to the sound. My desk is right near the window, so I get to see everyone coming and going from the building. We handle international stuff, mostly just coordination and making sure things get to the right place. We are not some big corporation with hundreds of staff members. It is just a handful of us making sure the work is finished before we head home. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up and we have to take the stairs to the office. It keeps us moving, I suppose. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea twice a day. It is a very basic setup.
