Raghuvir Rice Traders

Raghuvir Rice Traders is located at Shop No.N26 in Kopar Khairne. If you look for the State Bank of India ATM, we are right near there. We specialize in different kinds of rice, mostly selling to the families and small eateries in the neighborhood. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep a good variety on hand. The smell of raw rice is the first thing you notice when you walk in. I spend a lot of my day showing people the difference between the grains. Some want it for daily use, others for something special like a wedding. We have big open bags so people can see and feel what they are getting. It’s a busy area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with grains falling out of the scoops, so I have to sweep up a few times a day. We don't do much fancy marketing; we just rely on people telling their neighbors about us. It's a straightforward business. I’ve been working in this shop for a long time, and I’ve seen the area change quite a bit. The ATM next door brings a lot of foot traffic past our window. We just keep the bags filled and the weights honest. It’s a decent living and I enjoy talking to the regulars who come back every month for their supplies.
