Our office and works are located at D-221 in the MIDC area on Thane Belapur Road. Nerul is a busy industrial hub, and being part of Pennwalt Ltd. means being right in the middle of it. It’s a large industrial plot with a lot of heavy equipment around. The sun gets pretty hot out here on the road, so we’re glad for the shade inside the building. We have a lot of engineers and technicians moving around the site. It’s a practical place, designed for work rather than looks. There are often sounds of metal hitting metal or the hum of large engines being tested. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure the inventory is correct. Thane Belapur Road is always full of traffic, so we have to plan our deliveries carefully. It’s not the most glamorous place to work, but there’s a lot of satisfaction in seeing things get built and shipped out. We’ve been at D-221 for years, and most of the staff knows every corner of the facility. We don’t have much in the way of a lounge or a break room; usually, we just eat at our desks or out in the yard. It’s a straightforward business where hard work is the main thing. We keep the machines running and the paperwork moving. That’s what a day at Pennwalt Ltd. looks like.
