Our workplace is situated in Kalher Village, specifically in unit B-4/12 of the Prithvi Complex on Pipeline Road. If you have ever been to Bhiwandi, you know it is a very busy area for textiles and warehouses. We are right in the middle of all that chaos. We do a lot of fabric work and garment creation. The unit is always a bit dusty because of the threads and cloth, but that is just how it is in this line of work. We have been at this address for several years now and the walls show the age of the business. We have some old wooden tables for cutting and a row of sewing machines that stay busy from morning until evening. It is a small team here, mostly guys from the local neighborhood who have been with us since we opened. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. We just take orders and try to get them finished without any mistakes. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait around, but we usually use that time to grab some snacks from the stall outside. The road out front gets very crowded with trucks, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a headache. Still, we like being here in Bhiwandi. It is where the work is, and we are happy just doing our part.
