Nootan Medical And Research Foundation

Nootan Medical And Research Foundation is based out of the Datta Co Op Soc in Gandhi Nagar, right on Nandivli Road. It’s a residential-feeling area but we have our office space at A 003. We've been here for some time now, focusing on medical and research stuff. The neighborhood is fairly busy with people going about their daily lives, and we’re just a part of that. Inside our office, it’s mostly shelves full of files and a few computers. We aren't a big institution with a lot of funding; we just do what we can with what we have. Most of our work involves coordinating research and managing the foundation’s activities. The space is a bit small, and sometimes it gets crowded if we have visitors, but we make it work. We like being in Gandhi Nagar because it feels like a real community. You won't find any shiny signs or big advertisements for us. We just have a small nameplate on the door. It’s a lot of quiet work, looking at medical papers and trying to organize studies. We try to stay professional but we aren't robots. We have our tea breaks and we talk about the news just like everyone else. It’s a simple operation, and we’re fine with that. Being on Nandivli Road means we are easy to get to, which is helpful for the people we work with every day in this foundation.
