Murli Overseas

We are located in Bhiwandi, which is basically the heart of the textile world around here. Our place, Murli Overseas, is in the Anmol Textile Market at Anjur Phata. It’s on the second floor, specifically units 238 and 239 in the B-3 wing. If you’ve ever been to Bhiwandi, you know it’s a maze of warehouses and trucks everywhere you look. Getting to the market can take some time because of the heavy traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s all about the fabric. We deal with different types of cloth and handle some overseas orders too. The air is always a bit thick with lint and the sound of machines isn't too far off in the distance. We keep the stock piled up, so the space feels smaller than it actually is. It’s a busy environment and we’re usually sweating through our shirts by noon. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. People know us through word of mouth or by just walking through the market looking for goods. We take the orders, check the material, and get it packed for shipping. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bundles and checking labels. My brother helps me with the accounts, and we have a couple of boys who help with the heavy lifting. We’ve been in this market for years, and while it’s not the most glamorous job, it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We just keep moving and getting the fabric out.
