Mangesh Enterprises operates out of 90-B, Bhave Compound on Gokhale Road. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but once you find the compound, we’re right there. Working in a compound like this means we’re surrounded by other businesses, so there’s always a bit of chatter and the sound of engines nearby. We handle a variety of enterprise tasks, mostly focusing on getting goods where they need to go. Our space is functional—lots of boxes, some old filing cabinets, and a few sturdy tables for packing. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’re too busy actually working. Gokhale Road can be a nightmare for traffic, so we’ve learned to plan our days around the busiest hours. Sometimes we stay late to catch up on the paperwork that piles up while we’re busy on the floor. It’s a small team here, and we all know each other’s habits. We don’t have a big corporate hierarchy. If something needs doing, whoever is free just grabs it and gets it done. It’s the kind of place where you can wear your work clothes and not worry about looking too polished. We like the routine of it all. Coming in, checking the lists, and seeing the progress by the end of the day feels good. We’re just a regular business doing our best in a busy part of town. There is always something that needs fixing or moving, which is fine by us.
